Associate

CataCap is seeking an outstanding investment professional to support analysis and due diligence when investing in new companies, as well as management of our current portfolio. The role will be heavily involved in executing value creation plans at the portfolio company level.

The ideal candidate has strong financial skills (i.e. modelling, due diligence), can collaborate with entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to joint strategic and operational decisions, that create trusted partnerships and deliver results.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience with a strong track record, preferably from a top-tier company in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, M&A advisory, or private equity
  • Corporate development (M&A, strategy, or business development) and hands-on value creation experience is a plus
  • Proficient in financial modelling, due diligence, and structured communication
  • Solid transaction experience and mastery of the required toolbox
  • A Master’s degree in business, law or engineering with outstanding credentials from a top-tier university
  • Fluent in Danish and English
