We’re now looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Designer to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Technical Designer at HARCO, you will play a key role in transforming concepts into precise technical specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with our design, engineering, and production teams to ensure that every detail is accurate, functional, and aligned with our brand standards. This is a pivotal position for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure feasibility and functionality
- Develop and maintain accurate CAD models and 2D/3D renderings
- Conduct technical reviews and make iterative improvements based on feedback
- Monitor prototyping and sample development to ensure quality and alignment with specifications
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and version control of technical files
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a technical design role (industry-specific experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, or equivalent)
- A crafts background is seen as an advantage and it is a requirement to be able to draw in Inventor
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
