We are looking for a Buyer to our site in Holeby

Job Mission

The buyer is in charge to execute and monitor the P2P-process, under the direction of the Procurement Manager and will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure purchasing requirements are understood and comply with internal governance and procurement policies.

Result Areas

  • Manage the local procurement organisation
  • Responsible for the end-to-end procurement within the assigned scope
  • Develop and review global category strategies within the assigned scope which maximise value, reduce risk, and cost
  • Analyse the needs and collect the requirements within the assigned scope
  • Identify synergies and align with the Procurement Manager and other buyer(s)
  • Manage and ensure all required due diligence checks are carried out on all new suppliers
  • Lead commercial negotiations
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process and workflow in the ordering system (ERP)
  • Accountable for keeping up-to-date Master data, contracts and, tariffs in the ordering system (ERP) and liase with the central data management team
  • Accountable for driving commercial value and exercising best practice
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (users, finance, legal, suppliers) and develop relationships both internally and externally to drive value
  • Analyse the Market and present reports to the stakeholders, highlighting any trends, risks or issues
  • Review spend data and competitor behaviours
  • Critically evaluate the current supply model and make recommendations to the Procurement manager, internal and external stakeholders

Scope & Accountabilities

The buyer is accountable for all procurement within the assigned area and categories

  • In case of non-compliance with the internal governance and purchasing policies, escalate the problem to the Procurement Manager
  • In case of impossibility to comply with the procurement requirements of the requestor such as quantities, specifications, delivery time, etc. inform the requestor, propose alternative solutions and find an agreement

Traveling

You must expect to be visiting sites across EU, with an estimated traveling of around 24 days a year.

Skills & Expertise

  • Experience of managing end–to-end procurement using ordering systems (ERP)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to deliver successful negotiations results and contract tendering
  • Demonstrating Integrity, honesty, morality and trustworthiness
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Fluent in Danish and English
