Who are we

We are an international consultancy working within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The Headquarters are situated in the centre of Copenhagen, and we have a subsidiary in New Delhi. Our multicultural team of 80+ talented researchers and project managers - all of whom bring expertise from fields such as pharmacy, biotechnology, biochemistry, economics – provide services to clients all over the world.

We have a long and successful history of hiring talented employees, Master’s and PhDs, and we are now looking to welcome a new HR manager to continue this tradition and to further develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

About the job

AsHR Manager you will organizationally be part of a small , tightly knit, administrative support team facilitating the associated group companies TPR, Cortris, Jakob and Partners (www.jakobandpartners.com) and PJM Group. As we recently moved together under the same roof, the HR Manager will play a crucial role in the integration of the different entities helping to ensure a common and positive work environment that fosters creativity and growth. The job will expose you to a broad range of responsibilities, enhancing both depth and breadth in the HR activities.

Key future responsibilities

  • Support the various group entities in developing and implementing HR plans that enhance the overall business development
  • Manage core HR areas including HR admin, payroll handling in collaboration with our Finance department, maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, improve our existing HR systems as well as recommending new processes, develop and implement employee retention programs
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in collaboration with our Legal Counsel staying up to date with changes in labour laws
  • Assist in recruitment efforts and champion the onboarding process to expedite the settling period securing that people adapt quickly to their future roles by supporting managers with introduction and training programs
  • Support colleagues in identifying individual strengths and development needs
  • In collaboration with line managers conduct annual performance and salary reviews
  • Ensure internal HR communications are made in a timely, well planned and coordinated way
  • Become a “culture carrier” in the company and assist in improving employer branding

Qualifications & Skills

  • You probably haveamaster’s degree in human resources, psychology or in a business-related field
  • The ideal candidate would have some years of work experience in a HR role developing and implementing HR disciplines within the private sector
  • Fluent level of English, spoken and written, and used to working in an international environment.
  • We are eager to find a HR manager who connects easily with people and has a mindset for handling the dynamic nature of today’s workforce.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills with strategic thinking abilities, but at the same time with a thorough and methodical attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to change with willingness to embrace new ideas and processes with a proactive attitude to challenges
  • Organized and persistent with good time management skills and with the ability to prioritise and get things done
  • You are a strong problem-solving individual working with integrity and with conflict-resolution skills
