You will be team member # 13 in the R & D product development group together with specialists: engineers, physicists and chemists. We are constantly striving to be # 1 – or at least # 2 in everything we do! As a member of a global company, you will have the opportunity not only to collaborate with your 220 colleagues at OFS in Denmark, but also with teams in the US and our Japanese owners at Furukawa.

The R & D product team is responsible for developing new optical fibers for data transmission, fibers for amplifiers, fiber lasers and fiber-based sensors and other new applications.

Your main activities will be product development with particular focus on the influence of the protective polymer coating around glass optical fiber impacts.
