Technical Section Manager

Io-Interactive is currently looking for a full-time Technical Section Manager to join the studio management team. We are looking for a very technical candidate with strong personnel and human resources skills. She/he needs to be able to identify, plan, and execute all programmers’ career paths from recruitment over personal development to providing people to projects. A solid understanding of game development and production will be an advantage.

The Technical Section Manager reports to the studio’s Production Director and will work with the producers on identifying the ideal programmers for each project.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Follow latest and future trends in game programming and software engineering.
• Personnel go-to person for all studio’s programmers.
• Stay in close touch with every programmer to identify potential, strengths and issues.
