PhD scholarship in Marine Enzymatic Degradation of Persistent Organic Matter - DTU Aqua

This project seeks to translate metagenomic information to enzymatic function and biogeochemical impacts in marine carbon cycling.
The goal is to discover, produce, and characterize enzymes involved in conversion of persistent dissolved organic matter in the ocean, in order to understand the features of the enzymes as well as the organic matter persistence.
