Advanced Procurement Engineer - Blades and Composite materials

As an Advanced Procurement Engineer you will represent the Procurement function in the development of new wind turbines from the concept phase until the turbine is ready for serial production.

You will ensure that our suppliers are involved early in the components development and will also work closely with the internal engineering teams where you will be the voice of suppliers and procurement. In this role, you will also…

Actively contribute to the product development/manufacturing process as well as implements cost reduction measures.
Closely align with R&D community.
Include suppliers and contribute to cost-benefit analysis workshops, innovation workshops and concept competitions with key suppliers in order to concentrate on the key functions of the components/projects.
