As Production Business Unit Manager, Microbiology (PBU Manager) at Eurofins Food & Feed Testing you have the overall responsibility for the microbiology production teams. The microbiological department does microbiological testing of food, feed and water to detect pathogenic microbes, toxins such as Salmonellae, Listeriae, and organisms causing decay such as yeasts, fungi, or moulds.
The production teams within the microbiology department operates in two daily shifts and one night shift with a total of 45 FTEs. The teams conduct a huge number of samples per year, which means they continuously need to secure the right planning tool and daily planning of capacity and staffing.
