This position is placed in the Procurement Services Accounting Unit (PSAU) of the Financial Management Centre in UNICEF’s Supply Division. PSAU is responsible for performing accounting, financial management and reporting on funds received for procurement services from governments, other organizations in the United Nations system, and governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Under the supervision of the Accounting Officer, the Accounts Associate will perform accounting functions and reporting mainly for GAVI procurement activities for COVAX facility and COVID related projects in PSAU.
