DSV already knew about their strengths as a workplace. They wanted to work even more on communicating that internal knowledge to the candidates in an inviting way, tailored to each segment. In addition, DSV was in a market where some roles were hard to fill because candidates were in high demand.

The Solution

Since job ad writing was normally done by HR, we started out writing a few job ads in both Danish and English. It was a clear way to communicate DSV’s brand – directly to the candidates. Through the use of data and research, we were able to tailor each job ad to the hiring manager and the department, with DSV’s unique storytelling woven in.

And the feedback was great. Hiring manager felt heard and each department felt represented. The improved job ads generated a better response from the candidates, which meant less search work for HR and more time for the recruitment process and the development of DSV’s employer brand.

In addition to the job ads themselves, we also produced 4 tailored job ad layouts, matching their target candidates. And the data allowed us to demonstrate increased traffic, longer time spent on the content – as well as a better candidate experience.
