Find the right candidates

Search more than 425,000 candidate profiles in our database. Every candidate has actively created a profile to be contacted about relevant job opportunities. The database is not a social network – candidates cannot interact with each other. Only Jobindex and companies with access to the database can contact them.

Use the right keywords

Successful searches start with the right keywords. Broaden your search by including synonyms, abbreviations and English job titles. With more than 6,000 searchable job titles in the database, it's worth trying different terms and combinations.

Make the most of location-based searching

Be as specific as possible when defining the job location. A precise location often produces more relevant results than searching by a broad geographic area. You can also use the Workplace Address feature and prioritise candidates based on their distance from the workplace, so candidates located closer to the job appear higher in your search results.

Narrow your search with filters

Filters help you quickly narrow down your candidate pool. You can filter by criteria such as education level, years of experience, management experience and salary expectations. Use filters as guidelines rather than strict requirements, and always combine them with an overall assessment of the candidate's profile.

Please note that filters only return candidates who have completed the selected fields. Candidates who have not provided this information will be excluded from your search results.

Evaluate candidates efficiently

Focus on what matters most. When reviewing candidates, pay particular attention to:

  • Career preferences
  • Distance to the workplace
  • Skills and experience

Start by assessing whether the candidate's level of experience matches the role, even if the position isn't a perfect fit with their stated job preferences. Also consider whether the commuting distance is realistic. Whether a candidate is willing to travel 20 km or 100 km often depends on factors such as their profile, location, seniority and the role itself. If you're unsure about a particular situation, feel free to contact us – we're happy to advise you.

Start meaningful conversations

Write messages that capture the candidate's interest. The best outreach is personal, relevant and specific. The more tailored your message is, the more likely you are to start a conversation.

Clearly describe the role, explain what makes your workplace attractive, and tell the candidate why you believe they're a good match for this opportunity. Always end your message with a clear call to action.

Respect candidates' privacy

Some candidates prefer to keep their job search confidential. They can therefore choose to hide selected information in their profile. Around 44% of candidates have restricted one or more profile details. This gives candidates greater peace of mind and helps maintain a strong and trustworthy database.

Start with a focused search by combining multiple keywords and filters. Then gradually broaden your search by using fewer filters and search terms. You can make your searches more precise by using the following search operators in the Keywords and CV IDs field.

Group multiple search criteria into a single search.

Example:

+(Nav* Axapta Dynamics) +(HD cand.merc.) +(controller auditor)

Finds candidates with experience in Navision, Axapta or Dynamics, an HD or cand.merc. degree, and experience as either a controller or an auditor.

Makes at least one of the words in the group mandatory.

Example:

+(buyer purchasing procurement) +(FMCG food food industry)

Finds CVs containing either buyer, purchasing or procurement, combined with either FMCG, food or food industry.

Searches for different word endings or compound words.

Example: teach* finds words such as teacher, teaching, teaching assistant, teaching consultant, etc.

Example: *student finds compound words ending in student, such as PhD student, graduate student, etc.
