A 3-year PhD scholarship in synthetic organometallic polynuclear chemistry is available at the Department of Chemistry, starting from September 1, 2018. The project will be under supervision of Assistant Professor Martin Nielsen and is funded by a DFF-Danish ERC-support program.
The research in the group is focused on designing, synthesizing, and characterizing well-defined inorganic polynuclear coordination complexes. The aim is to develop novel chemistry based on these clusters.
You will be involved in all facets of the research towards developing new organometallic polynuclear complexes and elucidating their novel chemistry.
We are seeking a highly talented PhD candidate in the field of Quantum Sensing based on color centers in diamonds..
We are an international research team of more than 30 students and staff with diverse backgrounds. We have a dynamic research environment with close and daily interaction among all members, and strong collaborations with many academic and industrial partners.
In this project, we will utilize nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamonds for sensing magnetic fields with unprecedented sensitivity and extreme spatial resolution at room temperature. .
Research Engineer for the development of assessment techniques of listening effort at Eriksholm Research Centre, part of Oticon.
You will work on integrating different assessment techniques of listening effort, including pupillometry, electroencephalography (EEG), and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). Furthermore, you will work on implementing different software solutions for research on listening effort with the newest hearing aid technology. This includes further supporting our collaboration partners in their research projects.
Research shows growing evidence, that hearing-impairment affects listening effort and fatigue. Listening effort can be assed using different measurement techniques such as pupillometry, EEG, or functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS). Our current research indicated that newest hearing-aid technologies reduce listening effort, which could be demonstrated by the help of pupillometry.
A 3-year PhD scholarship in supramolecular and bioorganic chemistry is available starting from October 1 2018.
The successful candidate will join a young and ambitious, international research team, which is a part of the Organic and Inorganic Chemistry section at DTU Chemistry.
Research in the group is focused on supramolecular chemistry and its application to problems in chemical biology. We aim to understand how non-covalent interactions allow molecules interact, to recognise each other, to fold and assemble into larger, multi-component systems.
A 3-year PhD scholarship in synthetic inorganic chemistry is available at the Department of Chemistry, starting from October 1st, 2018.
The research in the group is focused on designing and synthesizing inorganic coordination complexes, for homogeneous organometallic catalysis in the broad field of sustainable chemistry.
- Inorganic syntheses of novel coordination complexes
- In-depth structural and property characterizations of all new compounds
- Testing and optimizing for catalytic activity
A 3-year PhD position is available in the laboratory of Professor Preben Morth at the Technical University of Denmark.
The aim is to understand how the lipid environment influences the activity of membrane proteins, using active transporters as benchmark systems, and to investigate the dynamic fluctuations between lipid and protein in solution and using state of the art biophysical methods and enzyme kinetic methods.
We search for highly motivated individuals to work in the field of membrane protein chemistry. The ideal candidate has previous experience in membrane protein expression and purification for structural analysis as well as experience with enzyme kinetics and the use of fluorescence spectroscopy.
