The goal of this position is to develop components of a neuro-adaptive learning platform that helps to improve learning outcomes of learners by assessing the cognitive and emotional state of learners in a context-specific manner and by developing an adaptation mechanism.
Learners’ engagement with digital knowledge artefacts, such as conceptual models, data profiles and visualizations as well as software scripts, is increasing in multi-disciplines like data science, and exasperated by the diversity of student backgrounds entering such areas of study.

Centre for Oil and Gas – DTU is established by the Danish Underground Consortium and DTU. As part of a national strategy on oil and gas, the research centre is an ambitious, targeted effort to improve recovery of oil and gas from the Danish North Sea.
The positions will be an integrated part of the advanced water flooding programme with the focus on improving oil recovery in chalk reservoirs in the Danish part of the North Sea. In this context, the candidate is expected to perform fundamental and applied research on understanding of enhance oil recovery from chalk reservoirs, and upscaling of multiphase flow on scales ranging from the core-to-field-scale.

DTU Management Engineering is seeking excellent candidates for a PhD scholarship in the area of cyclist safety and statistical modelling.
The purpose of the scholarship is to contribute to high-level research in the area of traffic safety with focus on bicycle accidents, how to model these using statistical models and how to assess its associated costs for society. This involves predictions in the geography, by accident and social characteristics.
An additional objective is to identify the social perceived cost of accidents from the point of view of the cyclist and to derive the effect on quality-of-life and how this relate to the social cost for society.
