PhD Scholarship in Quantum Physics and Quantum Information Science - DTU Physics
The Quantum Physics & Information Technology (QPIT) group at DTU Physics is seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as PhD students.
We specialize in quantum information processing, quantum communication, and quantum sensing using cutting-edge technologies such as quantum optics, quantum optomechanics, and diamond physics.
Joining our team will provide you with numerous benefits, including the opportunity to explore completely new regimes of physics and information, both theoretically and experimentally.
PhD scholarship in Clinical Assessments of Vestibular Balance Disorders and Rehabilitation – DTU Health Tech
Are you interested in combining clinical medicine and engineering to help create better healthcare for individuals suffering from vertigo?
This PhD project focuses on clinical assessments of patients with vertigo, with a focus on benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The aim is to supplement existing diagnostic tools with more objective and valid estimates of balance assessment to improve decisions on relevant diagnostic pathways and treatment, as well as to facilitate more effective counselling and expectation management regarding balance rehabilitation.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
As our new senior mechanical engineer, you will contribute to our future transducer designs and join our dedicated Sensor team, well known for its high-quality designs over the years.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop the functional mechanics that form the core of our transducers, in collaboration with team members possessing domain knowledge.
- Design and develop equipment/tools and processes for new transducer designs.
Freedom with responsibility is the framework for HBK’s employees.
PhD scholarship in Efficient Numerical Modelling of Smart Hearables while Fitted to Users – DTU Electro
Are you interested in learning and extending on state-of-the-art numerical modelling techniques and, at the same time, contribute to improving the listening experience of smart hearable users and hearing impaired?
As a PhD candidate with us you will create models of audio devices that are worn in or over the ear and including the wearer’s acoustical and mechanical influence. You will deal with a large modelling task with uncertain input data, and to do this you will acquire knowledge on fields like advanced numerical modelling techniques, improvement of model efficiency and numerical optimization, among others.
PhD scholarship in Broadband Vibroacoustic Shape Optimization using Model Order Reduction Methods – DTU Electro
This project aims at the application of MOR to the optimization of electroacoustic devices that involve the interaction of mechanical and acoustical domains, i.e. vibroacoustics. At DTU and KUL, you will have access to state-of-the-art knowledge on numerical methods, MOR and numerical optimization.
You will collaborate with the company PURIFI, a research-based producer of high-end loudspeaker units with wide practical experience on transducer non-linearities, measurement methods, and optimization techniques. You will be expected to extend and streamline models, opening up new possibilities for vibroacoustic design.
Engineering Student
Would you like to work with cutting-edge technologies in a modern laboratory?
We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering student specializing in Electrical Engineering to join our Product Reliability Engineering team. If you are in the second half of your studies (between the 5th and 7th semester), this opportunity could be perfect for you. You will work with electric, acoustic, and mechanical testing an analysis and documentation
PhD scholarship in Measurement Methods, Reliability, and Uncertainty in Acoustic-Mechanical Microsystems – DTU Electro
Are you interested in developing and advancing state-of-the-art measurement methods for sound and vibration in miniature audio systems?
The small scale of smart hearables such as ear pods, headsets, and hearing aids present unique challenges to accurately and reliably measure the acoustic and vibroacoustic behaviour of their components. But modelling, simulation, and optimization of such devices relies on accurate measurement data.
As a PhD candidate with us you will investigate and develop measurement methods suitable for small parts and evaluate reliability and uncertainty of these methods.
Sustainability Communications Manager
Are you an experienced communications professional adept in turning complex information in to engaging stories across a diverse set of markets?
You'll be instrumental in positioning Rockfon as a sustainability market leader within our industry, with consistent, credible, and engaging communication. Daily you will collaborate with our Sustainability team.
