As Test and Release Manager, you will be a part of our Audiology & Embedded Systems group in R&D. In our Platform Release Team, you will be accountable for the verification of the embedded software platform, making sure the right tests are developed, executed, and passed before the release.
As the embedded software platform is used in medical devices, the verification follows the internal QMS processes and needs to be sufficiently documented. Lastly, in close corporation with our Release Project Leader, you will be responsible for organizing the releases of the embedded software platform, following the established governance.

In your role you will be responsible of ensuring that our SW-products fulfil the user’s expectations as well as the regulatory requirements. Your daily work will be supported by state-of-the-art methods, equipment and laboratories. To support the business and organization globally, you can expect to travel 10-15 days per year, primarily to Warsaw and Bern.
We will provide you with a wide portfolio of interesting and challenging tasks including;
- Plan and execute activities related to quality assurance of software products being developed

As Head of RA Project Management, you will be a part of a RA department of 20 people in total. 13 placed in Denmark and seven placed in Stettin, Poland. The RA department is responsible for the different type of regulatory documentation related to the products, e.g. Safety & EMC approvals, the risk management documentation, the medical device file, and documents used for registration in countries worldwide. The RA Project Management team is a part of the RA department.
The members of the RA Project Management team participate in the developing projects. Here they support the project by (1) writing some of the regulatory documentation, (2) ensures that the product is in compliance with the regulation, and (3) handle the relevant stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

Together with the group you will be designing and implementing embedded software on our in-house custom SoCs used in all Oticon´s hearing solutions. You will be part of identifying requirements, developing, testing, debugging, releasing, and documenting. And here come the main tasks for you to take part in:
- Architecture and module design participation for new features, in cooperation with cross-functional internal stakeholders
- Design, implementation, and test of embedded software in our hearing solutions
- Participation in the development and maintenance of our automated continuous integration (build and test) set up to the team’s deliveries
