All in all, we are about 50 engineers and technicians in our Electronics Group. Our main goal is to develop the electronics solutions for all Oticon’s hearing aids and accessories. We have a close collaboration with our Chipset Group, which develops the company’s proprietary ICs. Our team integrates the ICs onto very small PCBs.
Joining us, you will be involved in all development steps from concepting, initial product design to release and handover for mass-production. In this process you will:
- Create new components in design tool system
- Draw and maintain schematic, attend reviews
- Create PCB layout (single-sided, multi-layer, flex, rigid PCB and IC substrates)

Joining us, you will be involved in all development steps from initial design and all the way to production test and eventually, handover for mass-production. Do you have good Matlab and/or Python skills and solid knowledge of the human auditory system? Do you have experience with auditory modeling and interest in audiology and hearing-aid rehabilitation?
In your new department, our primary focus is audiological research, technical and clinical testing of novel features in future hearing aids under development as well as market-released devices. Your primary job will be to support our ongoing research and testing activities.
Some of your general tasks could be to:
- Verify product and feature performance via measurements and computer simulations
- Write documentation reporting simulation and measurement results
- Use models to simulate the effects of hearing loss and hearing-aid signal processing
We are looking for a Software Developer/DevOps Engineer. In SET and our group (Req & Test), we are dedicated to supporting the R&D department by developing new and efficient solutions within Systems engineering and this is our main mission.
We are responsible for the framework used for Requirements, Verification and Defect management across R&D and this is an ever growing area that calls for automation and new solutions integrating with other solutions within and outside R&D.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing and maintaining web applications that support our core tools (IBM DOORS and IBM RQM/ELM)
- Server management
- Tools maintenance and automation

Our goal is to deliver the most advanced low-power audio-enabled device, living up to medical device standards. This means that you must be able to design safe C code that provides advanced functionality with real-time guarantees for the audio system while balancing memory consumption, compute cycles and power efficiency. The firmware platform includes Hardware drivers, RTOS, power management, file system, communication stacks, firmware update functionality, security, two wireless audio systems and much more.
Oticon, SmørumWe are looking for a talented IC Verification Engineer to join our chipset department at Oticon where you will take part in developing our future hearing instrument integrated circuits. We develop the chipsets used in our hearing instruments and accessories.
You will be working in a scrum team together with the IC designers. Your primary objective will be to participate in the functional verification of design modules as well as the top-level design. Further, you will work together with the IC Verification team on improving the verification flow making sure we always use the most modern methods and tools.

We use technologies like 2.4GHz Bluetooth Low Energy & NFMI antennas, acoustical & magnetic transducers, and rechargeable batteries to finally put the entire hearing instrument system together.Joining us, you will be involved in all development steps from initial product specification to design and verification and in the end, handover for mass-production. Designing small size products with excellent performance is the key driver for our success and the limited space and high integration level makes this a very challenging task.
