This project aims at the application of MOR to the optimization of electroacoustic devices that involve the interaction of mechanical and acoustical domains, i.e. vibroacoustics. At DTU and KUL, you will have access to state-of-the-art knowledge on numerical methods, MOR and numerical optimization.
You will collaborate with the company PURIFI, a research-based producer of high-end loudspeaker units with wide practical experience on transducer non-linearities, measurement methods, and optimization techniques. You will be expected to extend and streamline models, opening up new possibilities for vibroacoustic design.
PhD scholarship in Linearized floating wind farm modelling - DTU Wind
Do you want to be involved in the green energy transition? Do you wish to contribute to the development of advanced technologies for floating wind farms and are you looking for a career in R&D or academia? Then we have a great opportunity!
The overall research goal is to develop a fast linear numerical model facilitating simplified, yet sufficiently accurate, description of a floating wind farm for design of optimal control and optimal layout of such. The model will make out a linearized counterpart to the time domain Dynamiks.HAWC2Farm model.
Data Analyst - DTU Aqua
Applications are invited for a position as Data Analyst at DTU Aqua’s Section for Monitoring and Data.
DTU Aqua provides scientific advice to both Danish and international authorities on sustainable utilisation of living aquatic resources and the impact of human activities on the aquatic environment.
The main tasks will involve helping our dynamic Data team in practical data handling, analysis, and support of scientific work with a major focus on data quality assurance, artificial intelligence, and image recognition.
PhD scholarship in Measurement Methods, Reliability, and Uncertainty in Acoustic-Mechanical Microsystems – DTU Electro
Are you interested in developing and advancing state-of-the-art measurement methods for sound and vibration in miniature audio systems?
The small scale of smart hearables such as ear pods, headsets, and hearing aids present unique challenges to accurately and reliably measure the acoustic and vibroacoustic behaviour of their components. But modelling, simulation, and optimization of such devices relies on accurate measurement data.
As a PhD candidate with us you will investigate and develop measurement methods suitable for small parts and evaluate reliability and uncertainty of these methods.
PhD scholarship in computational kinetic modelling of human glycolysis - DTU Biosustain
Thanks to recent advances in computational and analytical biology, it is now possible to reconcile mechanistic models of cell metabolism with information from quantitative multiomics experiments. In this study, we will explore human embryonic kidney (HEK) cells.
This PhD student will work closely with another student who will collect multiomics data from HEK cells specifically for kinetic modelling. The focus of the current project will be to fit a kinetic model with this data and address open scientific questions about glycolysis based on the results.
PhD scholarship in digitalization of polymer-based battery electrolyte development - DTU Energy
If you have the ambition to build your scientific career at the forefront of cutting-edge research and contribute to accelerating green transition via digitalization, we have a perfect PhD opportunity for you.
You will work on a project to design fluorinated polymers prepared through light-induced polymerization. The design space for finding the optimal composition and synthesis conditions for polymer electrolytes is too vast to explore manually. Therefore, we are combining self-driving labs, high-throughput atomic scale simulations, and AI to transition to digitalization-based automation of electrolyte development.
Senior Advising Innovation Consultant – DTU Health Tech
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a comprehensive senior advising innovation consultancy role.
As a Senior Advising Innovation Consultant, your primary responsibilities will involve providing guidance and advice to others in the realm of research activities, while also offering support in patent development, market analysis for patents, and the creation of robust business models.
Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in seeking financial support for our startup ventures and research initiatives.
PhD scholarships (2) on Theory, Fabrication, and Optical Characterization of Subdiffraction Photonic Cavities – DTU Electro
DTU Electro are looking for two bright and motivated PhD students within subdiffraction cavities based on silicon bowties with the overarching goal of exploring new regimes of light-matter interaction.
The first position includes a strong element of nanofabrication but numerical design, theory, and optical measurements are important as well. The second position will be focused mainly on design, theory, and optical measurements.
