The Vineyard & Winery Specialist role covers the full cycle from vine care and field logistics to winemaking and cellar management from a specialist perspective. The main purpose of the role is to ensure smooth operations across serason and pass on knowledge to subsequent teams and assistants to build long-tem continuity.Responsibilities and Authority Rights:

Vineyard Operations
·Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of vineyard workflows and seasonal routines, ensuring efficient practices are documented and scalable for future teams.
·Take full responsibility for all core viticultural practices, including (but not limited to) vine pruning, canopy management, thinning, and disease control.
·Take full responsibility for weed management, implementation of cover crops, soil sampling and interpretation, and the development of a fertilization strategy, including foliar applications.
·Ensure accurate execution of replacement planting and provide well-documented approach to vine health throughout the season.
·Ensure we maintain harvest readiness, advise on vineyard logistics.
Winery Operations
·Take a leading role in establishing and refining winemaking processes and production workflows from grape intake and pressing to fermentation, lab analysis and final bottling.
·Take ownership of developing and maintaining SOPs for hygiene protocols, production equipment and cellar environment, as well as inventory of materials and consumables critical to winemaking.
·Maintain methodical recordkeeping of each production step to ensure traceability and quality control.
Ensure that all key procedures – both in the vineyard and winery – are well documented.
The specialist is expected to actively share their expertise with others, enabling the organization to maintain operations in case of absence or unexpected changes. Collaboration with external experts, such as vineyard associations or consultants, may also be required in in specific situations.
·Solid experience in both viticulture and winemaking, preferably in cool-climate regions.
·In-depth understanding of vineyard ecology, soil health, nutrient management, and disease prevention.
·Practical experience in traditional and modern winemaking techniques, including lab work and cellar hygiene
·Strong documentation and process management skills.
Experience from international vineyards or wineries is considered meritorious
