Join a purpose-driven, fast-growing company where finance, strategy, and execution come together to accelerate the green transition. This is a unique opportunity to work at the core of major investment and divestment projects - and to help build a company that is redefining what is possible in renewables.
About Renewable Energy Company (ReCo)
ReCo is a newly established renewable energy company created through the merger of several leading players in the sector. With strong institutional backing, ReCo is on a bold mission to accelerate the green transition.
The company currently has around 170 employees, with half based at the headquarters in Aarhus and the rest across international offices. The senior management team consists of six people, and the working environment is dynamic, international, and highly collaborative.
At ReCo, we are building a culture defined by ambition, unity, and integrity. We value openness, collaboration, and respect for diversity, and we take pride in contributing to meaningful outcomes in renewable energy.
About the Role
As Transaction Project Manager you will report to Head of Portfolio & Transactions and directly support senior management, owners, and the board in strategic decision-making. You will be part of the Corporate Development and Transactions team (5 members) and play a key role in executing strategic corporate projects - from acquisitions and divestments to new market entries and financing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate transaction projects, including strategic investments, divestments, and corporate development initiatives
• Manage process preparation, due diligence, internal project alignment, negotiation and stakeholder communication (e.g. brokers, buyers, banks and institutional investors)
• Develop and maintain financial models for valuation, feasibility, and liquidity purposes - including OPEX, financing, and DCF analysis
• Apply Excel and VBA to build robust analytical models supporting project evaluation and decision-making
• Conduct market monitoring and stay on top of trends and developments within the renewable energy transaction landscape
• Prepare and present high-quality management and board materials, supporting decision-making and reporting
• Contribute to optimising internal processes and frameworks for transaction management and corporate execution
Travel activity will occur occasionally, primarily related to transaction processes, but the role is largely based in Aarhus.
The role offers solid development opportunities as the company grows and the transaction portfolio expands.
About You
You bring a mix of financial acumen, project management ability, and a collaborative mindset that allows you to drive complex processes from start to finish. You have hands-on experience with transaction execution, and you enjoy being close to negotiations and project delivery. Your background may be from M&A, corporate finance, or project development, but most importantly, you are confident in managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Profile:
• A relevant master’s degree (for example, within finance, economics, or engineering)
• 3–6 years of experience from M&A, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or project development
• Proven experience in negotiating larger transactions
• Proven experience with financial modeling and valuation (Excel, DCF, VBA an advantage)
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to both detail and the bigger picture
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder processes in a structured and transparent way
• A proactive, self-driven mindset and strong sense of accountability
• Fluency in written and spoken English (Danish is an advantage but not required)
You are motivated by working close to key decisions - and by creating clarity, progress, and results in a setting where ambition and purpose go hand in hand.
