Student Assistant – Electronic Nose Systems

Are you a Mechatronics student with a passion for sensors, embedded systems, and intelligent technologies? Join us in developing cutting-edge electronic nose systems!

We are looking for a motivated Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Mechatronics to support our research and development activities. As a student assistant, you will contribute to:

  • Gas sensor selection and characterization

  • Embedded system integration

  • Mechanical design (CAD) and 3D printing

  • Data collection and analysis

  • Basic machine learning for sensor data interpretation

Start date: 1 February 2026
End date: 31 January 2027
Workload: Approx. 14 hours/week (flexible schedule)
Location: Alsion, Sønderborg

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).

In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
