Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Chef to join our kitchen team. The right candidate will have deep knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and regional dishes, and will be able to maintain consistency and quality in every dish

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes (curries, biryanis, breads, tandoori items).

  • Operate and manage a tandoor oven, and other kitchen equipment.

  • Ensure all food is prepared to high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen according to food safety (HACCP) standards.

  • Follow all company and Danish food regulations and hygiene requirements.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 1-2 years ’ experience as an curry cook chef in a professional restaurant.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and manage time well.

  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).

  • Team-oriented, reliable, and passionate about Indian cuisine.
