We are looking for an assistant professor in evolutionary and computational genomics, ideally with a strong background in computer science and experience in development of methods for statistical inference. The position lasts for 2.5 years but could be extended, depending on availability of funding.

The assistant professor’s duties will include research, including obligations with regard to scientific communication and teaching with associated examination obligations within evolutionary and computational genomics, and related fields. It will also include performance of other duties, including scientific outreach and societal engagement.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
