About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

About the department:

FLC IT operates a mix of local servers and cloud services in a large and complex network spanning our offices and construction sites in Rødby, on Fehmarn and indeed to our vessels at work in Fehmarn belt. From our office in Amager, Denmark. Under the guidance of our Infrastructure manager, you will help to manage our server and storage, backups and provide support to our colleagues via our helpdesk with everything from software and hardware to PC, network and servers.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Server management of Hyper-V and Virtual Server environment.

  • User, group and rights management.

  • Policies, implementation, maintenance and execution.

  • General IT administration

  • IT Documentation

  • Backup administration and control.

  • Systems management, PC imaging and update (patch) management.

  • Manage Engine Desktop Central administration.

  • General IT Support

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft systems, servers, and Hyper-V

  • A strong understanding of Active Directory and Domain controllers

  • Basic network knowledge, with strong network knowledge being highly appreciated
