Key Responsibilities
As the Membership and Event Coordinator at AmCham Denmark, you will play a key role in our success by ensuring continuity and efficiency in a dynamic small-office environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks across event coordination, membership service, executive support, administration, database management, invoicing, meeting coordination, office management, and various ad hoc assignments. A general understanding of bookkeeping principles and comfort working with numbers will be an advantage.

Your background and skills
You have 4–5 years of relevant experience as an administrative professional, with a proven track record in high-level support, office operations, and workflow optimization. You bring a proactive, detail-oriented approach to coordinating meetings, events, and daily administration, maintaining structure and efficiency in fast-paced environments.

You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and a “can-do” attitude. You thrive on collaboration, enjoy working with people, and seek out opportunities to grow your workplace competencies. You are fluent in English and Danish (Advanced Danish required for non-native speakers) and are technically proficient.

To be successful in this role, you are:

  • An independent self-starter, who takes ownership of assignments and sees them to completion.
  • “IT savvy” and capable of developing, managing, and delivering successful projects.
  • Experience with Conference Manager, FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Office will be an advantage.
  • Capable of writing and developing quality English content.
