We are now looking for a skilled Firmware Developer to join our on-site team and help build reliable, scalable systems from PCB to cloud.

Job Description
You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing firmware for embedded devices used in energy measurement and IoT deployments. You’ll collaborate closely with hardware- and cloud teams to deliver robust, secure solutions for industrial and utility applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop firmware for embedded devices in C / C++
Implement communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTPS, WiFi, Zigbee SE, RS485 and BLE).
Work with ARM, ESP32 and RTOS environments.
Debug hardware/firmware integrations and support field deployments.
Contribute to secure over-the-air update systems.
Assist in hardware design reviews and system validation.

Your Profile

Solid experience in C/C++ embedded programming.
Hands-on knowledge of communication protocols like RS485, MQTT and DLMS.
Familiar with ESP32 and embedded systems design.
PCB design skills in KiCad are a plus.
Able to work independently and collaborate in a team.
Fluent in English (Danish is a plus).
Self-driven and eager to solve real-world engineering challenges.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in firmware development (employment or freelance).
Experience with embedded Linux is a plus.
Formal education is not required if you have strong project-based experience.
Must be eligible to work under Danish employment law and comply with permit rules.
