Business Development Manager: Defense
Description
We at Quadsat are searching for a driven Business Development Manager to strengthen our defense segment and support the global growth of our new product portfolio.
Quadsat develops lightweight, flexible ELINT/EW payloads designed for integration across a variety of platforms. Our technology enables precise spectrum monitoring, emitter detection, and RF validation to support calibration, testing, and operational readiness of EW, SATCOM, and radar systems for defense and commercial applications.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in selling to defense customers and a solid understanding of missions and military systems.
In this role, you will join our team to drive the global expansion of our innovative products to meet the real-time operational needs of defense industry personnel.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Engaging with new and existing customers to drive sales across the full sales cycle to final contract closure.
- Coordinating with marketing to position Quadsat at defense related events and exhibitions.
- Engaging with the market to uncover new business opportunities and gain a deep understanding of customer needs, then working closely with the R&D team to translate these insights into refined, market-driven product solutions.
- Strategically positioning our product portfolio and leading the completion of tender submissions for opportunities in the defense sector.
- Continually work to expand and improve your technical understanding of our products and industry for defense systems, such as ESM, Geolocation, Radar and Satcom.
- Engage in travel to visit customers and attend conferences with other sales colleagues when defense opportunities arise across different regions.
- Participate in internal training sessions for defense customers and aid in developing training material on our products to maximize user experience.

We imagine you:
- Have strong experience and a proven track record in business development and/or sales.
- Are experienced working in the defense industry, selling to defense companies, working in military public relations, or similar.
- Already have, or are capable of obtaining, Danish National security clearance to the level “HEMMELIGT”.
- Are passionate about innovating and learning new technologies.
- Have a strong desire and enthusiasm to travel internationally.
- You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
Travel Demands
- Estimated travel days around 60-100 yearly.
