The position
In this position you will be a part of the area API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). You will actively have an important role to cooperate, guide and support the CVP and department managers in the factories with environmental aspects and projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way, which is our value-based management system, to ensure compliance with ISO14001and ISO50001. You will represent purification plants in audits and inspections.
- Translating Nordisk Circular 4 Zero strategy, which involves the implementing rules and requirements, including legal requirements, strategies, best practices etc. This will require cooperation across API area to translate strategy into execution.
- Actively managing processes that improve our area’s performance relative to the above.
- Run purification plants local environmental group, who is a part of our project office.
- Driving strategies in purification and supporting the environmental assessments in projects.
- Managing stakeholders.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong working experience with environmental requirements and standards, preferable in a production environment.
- An academic degree in environmental science or another relevant filed, combined with continued supplementary training in relevant areas.
- Solid analytical skills and practical experience in analyzing complex business issues.
- A Solid understanding of ISO14001and ISO50001.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written; knowledge of Danish language would be an advantage.
- Informal leadership experience will be an advantage.

About the department
As an Environmental and Energy Partner in API PP, you will support the CVP for the area and the Directors in the area in environmental and energy matters and will be the main responsible for running environmental and energy saving projects. You will be a member of the CVP management group where you also will act as a trusted sparring partner in environmental and energy issues.
API PP is an Insulin purification plant and is part of Novo Nordisk’s production site in Kalundborg. We employ more than 550 people of different nationalities and educational backgrounds and run 24-hour production across 8 departments to produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients around the world.
