About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

Outfitting / Construction

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and lead daily activities of the outfitting team.
  • Plan work assignments based on project schedules, drawings, and material availability.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Interpret construction drawings and communicate requirements clearly to the team.
  • Monitor productivity, identify potential delays or issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct daily briefings, including safety tool-box talks and task allocations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, workforce attendance, and progress reporting.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Collaborate with site management, engineering teams, and other trades to coordinate work interfaces.

Qualifications:

  • Trade-certified Carpenter (apprenticeship completed or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Experience with outfitting works, preferably within tunnel, offshore, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and outfitting drawings and documents.
  • Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety practices applicable to tunnel environments.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • English language proficiency required; Polish language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed.
