Part time Administrative Officer/Coordinator for the European funded project LIFT – Agroecological food system Living labs for Farm and landscape Transformation, at the Department of Business and Sustainability

The Department of Business and Sustainability, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for an 8,33% (3 hours per week) part time academic administrative position in the LIFT project as of August 1, 2025, or as agreed and lasting until March 31, 2028.

The department is organized into eight research groups and centres based on common professional interests among the members. For the open position, we are seeking applicants to work as a Living Lab coordinator and expert facilitator for co-creative workshops, especially with a view to develop qualitative indicators for the monitoring of agroecological transformation in the context of the LIFT project. The open position is based at Campus Esbjerg.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with an interest in food systems transformation who can work closely together with the project leader to develop, coordinate and facilitate the LIFT project funded by the European Commission via the Agroecology Partnership.

As a part of the project the successful applicant will be tasked with a range of obligations at the department:

  • Coordinate Living Lab activities, bringing together farmers, municipalities, civil society organisations and researchers
  • Facilitate co-creative workshops
  • Support the transdisciplinary development of qualitative indicators of relevance to the project
  • Support the project leader in administrative tasks, including communications with the international consortium

To qualify for the positions, applicants must be able to document:

  • A proven relevant track record, including robust bioregional knowledge
  • Relevant education at a minimum of the B.Sc. level.
  • Danish spoken language
