Core research areas of the Department of Business Humanities and Law include governance, culture, learning, entrepreneurship, business ethics, leadership and business law from commercial and societal perspectives. The candidate will be a member of BHL’s Entrepreneurship, Ethics and Leadership unit. Therefore, the ideal candidate should demonstrate an understanding of entrepreneurship in context, drawing on humanistic knowledge, including various social disciplines such as history, sociology, philosophy, political science, and related fields.

Examples of research areas that the assistant professor might cover:
  • Humanistic approaches to entrepreneurship
  • Responsibility in entrepreneurship
  • Market development in entrepreneurial contexts
  • The role of design and creativity in market creation.

The successful applicant is obliged to participate in the assistant professor program at CBS on teaching principles and methods in order to fulfill the pedagogical requirements made at the end of the term of employment as an assistant professor.

Teaching responsibilities of the Department comprise undergraduate and graduate teaching in various areas related to business humanities and law, including entrepreneurship and new market creation.
