Hadeland Catering As, Jevnaker, south-east Norway, is looking for a qualified cook.

We have expanded our business and are now looking for a cook to join our team.

Who we are are looking for

As our new colleague, you:
  • have a craft certificate / vocational training as a cook
  • enjoy working with people
  • are flexible in terms of working hours
  • are willing to learn
  • wish to cooperate and integrate with our little team.




What are your tasks:
  • execute the kitchen and cuisine tasks given by the head chef, in terms of food production and preparation, preparation of catering, production of planned menus for catering and for our regular customers on a daily basis.
  • produce bakery and pastry products
  • participate actively in our overall work with internal control, hygiene and HSE (health, safety and environment)




Skills:
  • a craft certificate / vocational training as a cook
  • or solid work experience can compensate for craft certificate/vocational training
  • language: good level of English (written and spoken) or of a Scandinavian language




We offer

We consist of a small core of committed people who work with small and big businesses, conference facilities and local catering service. Our order book is growing so we are looking for a new colleague to our kitchen at Øvre Vang Gård farm.
We have a few appartments for rent on site (with parking); monthly rental 8000 NOK/month + electricity.

Contract
  • Full time, 40 hours/week, shift, daytime and evenings; week days and weekends
  • Permanent work contract.
  • Start as soon as possible in May or June 2025.

Salary:

salary according the the Norwegian national wage agreement for cooks

About Hadeland Catering As

We are a small personal business located at the guest farm Øvre Vang Gård, one of the oldest farms in the Jevnaker region. In our own kitchen, we cater parties and diners for up to 120 guests of the farm. To our biggest clients, we deliver conference, hotel and catering service. We also deliver catering to local businesses and private guests, via our online order service.

We make all our food from scratch using local produce.

Øvre Vang gård is situated in the municipality of Jevnaker, by the lake Randsfjorden, about 70 km north of the capital Oslo.
