About The Department
Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices (GSOD) is one of two direct sourcing units in Product Supply. We support Novo Nordisk's growth by working strategically with Product Supply’s direct spend and how we safeguard: Cost, quality, capacity, risk, and sustainability in our outsourced products and devices. Our sister unit is responsible for the inbound supply of materials and services. Combined, the two units are responsible for the medium and long-term strategic sourcing activities for all of Product Supply. We are currently located in Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Bagsværd but expect to move to Novo Nordisk’s new site in Taastrup at the end of 2024.
The internship position is anchored in the newly established Business Support team in GSOD, which is a staff function that secures progress on cross-unit organizational strategies and initiatives and responds to requests and direction set by surrounding functions concerning strategy, compliance, communication, process optimizations, budgets, and the like.
