The position
As Manager for Sourcing QC you will head up one of the teams focussing either on Chemical control, Physical control, or Support & Development.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Setting the direction according to Novo Nordisk Way (our company values), driving performances to reach both targets and department goals, and coaching the team
  • Contributing to developing our QC area together with the management team
  • Ensuring stable operations as well as making sure that delivery and agreements are met in a timely manner
  • Supporting the maintenance of technical equipment
  • Maintaining a safe working environment, compliant with ISO and OHSAS certifications
  • Driving and supporting the diversity and inclusion culture in the team

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree coupled with a background within analytical equipment, QC, QA or GMP production
  • Possess a previous management experience with the ability to coach and motivate your direct reports to deliver their best (preferably more than 3 years of experience)
  • Are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken

You take care of your team while making sure that the business is running and delivering on target. Last but not least, you enjoy working within a GMP regulated environment, in a position that contains lots of freedom and empowerment as well as huge business impact.

About the department

Sourcing QC is responsible for quality control of incoming materials for Novo Nordisk's global supply chain. The department conducts chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials to ensure that only goods meeting specified quality and patient safety requirements are forwarded to Novo Nordisk production sites. Sourcing QC holds approximately 100 employees (Operators, Laboratory Technicians, Professionals and Specialists) and are located at our site in Hillerød, close to our raw material warehouse.
