The position

As a Data Integration Strategy professional at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development and execution of data integration strategies for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the seamless integration of data assets into our internal systems.
  • Collaborate with end users to classify, document, and integrate M&A data assets, ensuring data consistency and compliance with regulations and deal terms.
  • Plan and execute data migration strategies for structured and unstructured data, maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting.
  • Work closely with legal, quality, and compliance teams to address the legal context of data assets in deals and mitigate data transfer risks.
  • Standardize tools, processes, and methodologies supporting R&ED M&A through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Contribute to the overall integration strategy of the R&ED department, supporting global IT and operations in creating IT environments and workflows for acquired data.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Strong experience in data integration and migration strategies, preferably in a global organization.
  • Knowledge of data classification, documentation, and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies for structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in standardizing tools, processes, and methodologies is a plus.

The Research Data Management area at Novo Nordisk is dedicated to ensuring the secure freedom to operate and effective data-driven decision making from Novo Nordisk research data. We strive to enable FAIR@source in new software and data products, harmonize research data assets, and provide a single source of truth for research metadata. Our team plays a crucial role in ensuring business continuity through submissions of formatted non-clinical study data for approvals.
