The position

In this role, you will support and coach leaders and specialists in improving their Lean knowledge to increase a Lean-Thinking mindset, focusing on how you can contribute to their development and success. You will report to the department Director and be part of the management group. You will be responsible for driving the usage of diverse LEAN tools, management systems, and ensuring a continuous improvement culture.

Your job will be characterized by a dynamic mix of coordination, coaching, and participation in management-related activities and execution of your own task in a more focused manner. Lean is a crucial tool to improve our processes and to bring our facility to the next level using digitalization, robots/robotics, augmented reality, and related tools and technologies as well as traditional LEAN tools such as physical boards, standards, etc.
Your main tasks will be:

  • Be present on the shop floor, coaching, sparring, and providing feedback to the leaders regarding their LSW (Leader Standard Work)
  • Drive strategy processes locally together with peers and supporting management.
  • Improve our production and information processes using classical and statistical tools (value stream mapping analysis, statistical process control, overall equipment effectiveness, scrap data, etc.)
  • Improve our digital/automation tools (digitalization, electronic records and data-capture, robotics, etc.) with responsibility for identification, design, and implementation.
  • Implement and improve our Lean tools and systems across the department (visual management, systematic problem solving, standardization of work, identification, and elimination of waste, etc.)
  • Drive standardization, anchoring of learnings and good training, knowing that it is what operational excellence builds upon

In addition, you will be part of our LEAN network across the functional area, providing knowledge sharing, a uniform strategic direction and incorporation with your peers in the other departments, you will address tasks and challenges that reach across the areas, such as Hoshin Kanri based target setting, cLEAN Supply System implementation etc.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A relevant academic degree plus at least 2 years of experience coaching leaders.
  • A solid LEAN toolbox and proven track records of results within a manufacturing environment – preferably in a highly regulated environment.
  • Excellent change management and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience in improving visual management and driving data-driven decision making.
  • Full proficiency of oral and written English and Danish.

You can interact and communicate at all levels of the organization, and you take pride in solving your tasks and challenges as close to the process with the close involvement of your key stakeholders.

BRD FP (Finished Products) is a part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our sites in Gentofte, Kalundborg, Kirke Værløse and Taastrup, we are more than 350 colleagues working together to ensure that our finished products are assembled and packed to the highest standards before distributed to people living with serious chronic diseases. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a timely and cost-effective way as we constantly optimise our processes and invest in the latest technology.
