This role is currently located in NN HQ Bagsvaerd. Please note that our department will be relocating to new office buildings in Taastrup by the end of 2024.

The Position
As a QA Professional in CSD Sourcing QA you will, together with dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories and suppliers.

You will be involved in:

  • Selecting and approving of i.e. service providers, new suppliers for raw materials, process aids, excipients, and primary packaging materials
  • Ensuring compliance by setting the correct requirements in the process for selection and approval of suppliers and service providers
  • Approval of quality related contracts with suppliers and service providers
  • Approval of deviations and change requests which is related to processes within strategic sourcing
  • QA oversight activities related to strategic sourcing processes

You will be working closely together with stakeholders from strategic sourcing of inbound materials and services, global strategic outsourcing & devices, quality control, regulatory affairs, purchasing/logistics, warehouse, consuming departments and suppliers.
The tasks are diverse as we have a lot of exciting projects in Novo Nordisk. This gives us a variety of challenges, and strong collaboration with all stakeholders is an essential key to success. In a dynamic and challenging environment with short deadlines, you can make clear priorities and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated sector, showing a clear dedication to maintaining high quality standards.
To succeed in the role:

  • You have MSc degree or equivalent within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related discipline
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • It would be nice if you have experience in working in a project-oriented setting
  • Previous experience with supplier management and auditing will be useful
  • Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, materials, or relevant production processes would also be advantageous

As a person you are known for your positive mindset, flexibility and persistence and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. You possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.

About the department
Sourcing QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials going into all of Novo Nordisk A/S marketed products. We are responsible for the Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. A combination of ensuring a high standard of incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools is part of our daily work. In total, we are 65 dedicated employees divided into 4 teams working closely together. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and all over the world.
