The position
As an Environmental Supporter, you will work closely with Environmental Partners and other colleagues in the Environment team to ensure compliance with external and internal environmental regulations and policies. You will support the identification and mitigation of environmental risks, the development and implementation of environmental training programs, and the collaboration with stakeholders across the entire value chain, from production to projects. As part of the job, you will be working with waste management, polluted soil, excavation, external noise, energy, ground- and wastewater by:
• Driving daily processes to make Environmental operations run smoothly.
• Direct involvement in operational tasks such as data collection, sampling, and drive dialogue and coordination with e.g., production and workshop personnel.
• Providing environmental support (e.g., during spillage, waste management) to shop floor operations, ensuring compliance and sustainable practices.
• Collaborating and coordinating with the entire value chain to ensure effective and efficient execution of tasks.
• Supporting and driving preventive work and innovative solutions to ensure an environmentally safe production and get us closer to our environmental targets.
• Working directly on the shop floor through daily dialogues with a wide range of stakeholders to establish and maintain an open, trustworthy, and professional relationship.

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we envision that you have:
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience with environmental work, ideally from a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory settings.
• Educational Background: A relevant intermediate higher education in a relevant field, such as Environmental Technician.
• Language Skills: Danish (Professional Fluency), English (Functional Fluency)
• Balanced Approach: To have a hands-on approach while also being able to provide support with administrative desk work that considers both the environment and business needs.


As an individual, you are driven, with an optimistic attitude that enables you to pursue key focus areas and achieve results. Furthermore, you are comfortable and skilled at communicating with people with diverse backgrounds. You have a qualitative and analytical mindset that gives you a proactive, structured, and systematic approach to tasks. You are a person who thrives on interacting with plenty of different people during a workday.


About the department
You will join the Environment team at NNPR, part of Sustainability Partnering, alongside Health and Safety. Focusing specifically on the Environment team, we are a dedicated group of 9 employees who work diligently to support NNPR. We place a strong emphasis on fostering a 'diversity and inclusivity' mindset, while also prioritizing a fun and inquisitive working environment.
