The position

As Manager for one of the Case Management teams, your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day people management, performance, and development of employees within your team.
  • Motivating and supporting employees through collaborative decision-making and ongoing prioritization.
  • Playing an active role in setting direction for the team and contributing to initiatives, alignment, and projects across the area.
  • Demonstrating initiative in seeking interaction with colleagues internally and externally within a global organization to secure collaboration and alignment cross-organizationally.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in biomedical sciences or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior experience in people management and pharmacovigilance is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using fluent written and spoken English on a daily basis.

On a personal level, you are keen on leading and coaching teams, fostering their growth and development. You possess the ability to take initiative and role model empathy. You possess outstanding communication skills, coupled with an open mindset and a strong sense of cultural awareness.


About the department

The Safety Operations Case Management area in Denmark comprises three Case Management teams, each consisting of 15 highly competent and motivated colleagues. The primary responsibilities for these teams include case entry and initial medical evaluation of individual case safety reports from our clinical trials, participation in cross functional activities, training activities and involvement in continuous improvement projects. We operate in a dynamic environment supporting the entire development portfolio, in close collaboration with various stakeholders including colleagues from Novo Nordisk Safety departments in India, the US and Global Development.

This department is situated in Safety Operations, one of the functional areas in Global Safety. Global Safety is overall responsible for meeting global regulatory requirements for handling and reporting of individual case safety reports as well as for the surveillance of safety and quality of Novo Nordisk clinical development and marketed products.
