The position

As our Senior Strategy Partner, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and projects that develop and improve the Material Manufacturing Development function and collaboration with our stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. You will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Material ManDev.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving strategic analyses of key business opportunities and challenges
  • Leading strategic projects and initiatives across the department
  • Overseeing selected management processes such as strategy deployment, organizational reviews, reporting towards upper management, among others
  • Becoming a member of the management team and working closely with global stakeholders across both Sourcing Operations and Novo Nordisk
  • Bringing innovative ideas, surfacing opportunities and providing recommendations based on business insights

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you have:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience within Business Development, Project Management, Executive Support or consulting
  • Workshop facilitation experience
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate strategic and complex topics in a structured way to different stakeholders, such as senior management. You are motivated by identifying business opportunities, creating high-class solutions, and challenging the status quo. You have the confidence and ability to set direction and constructively challenge at all levels of the organisation. You have a sharp eye for detail and a structured approach to solving business challenges. Furthermore, you are flexible and thrive when working in a high pace environment, managing several tasks at the same time.

About the department

Material Manufacturing Development is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 500 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.

Material Manufacturing Development consists of approximately 125 dedicated colleagues organized in three director areas. We are experts in implementing and managing GMP materials and analyses. Our goal is to deliver robust solutions and proactively support a seamless global flow, by establishing and maintaining in-house specifications, providing support to Contract Manufacturing Organisations, handling regulatory submissions, supporting development activities, among many other activities.

The three departments within Material Manufacturing Development are located in Bagsværd and Hillerød. All functions in Bagsværd will be moving to new offices in Høje Taastrup by the end of 2024. This role will primarily be based in Bagsværd (and later Høje Taastrup) with some days in Hillerød depending on which projects you will be working on.
