About the department

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech produces Resins and Enzymes, important ingredients that go into Novo Nordisk’s most important products and we are on an exciting growth journey for the next many years with Novo Nordisk, who is treated as a regular customer of ours.

To support the future growth, we are looking for an Account Manager to drive sales growth, new product launches, stakeholder engagement and high customer satisfaction. The role will be instrumental in orchestrating an efficient and impactful collaboration with the Novo Nordisk organization and the many stakeholders we have touchpoints with today and in the future.

You will become part of the Sales Team, who today both works on reoccurring business and new opportunities on pharma customers outside the Novo Nordisk Account. We are servicing the pharmaceutical market with recombinant Insulin that enable better and more effective pharma production around the world. In coming years, we will expand the portfolio with new Enzymes to further improve yields from Pharma production across all our customers including Novo Nordisk.

The team works out of North America, Europe and Aisa, and Sales management is based in Køge, Denmark.

The position

This is an exciting new role and you will get the opportunity to shape it whilst using your stakeholder engagement skills. You will become an essential driver of our partnership with Novo Nordisk.

Responsibilities include:

  • Map, build and develop relations across Novo Nordisk's value chain, including R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality.
  • Establish effective Account governance, including Steering groups and Executive engagement, and drive commercial agreements and pricing.
  • Ensure coordination between R&D, Supply Chain, and Procurement for new product entry into Novo Nordisk.
  • Create and maintain the Novo Nordisk Account plan, including must-win battles and long-term aspirations, and support forecasting and S&OP processes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to develop a robust product pipeline and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

  • A Master’s degree within Business or other relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience from a commercial function preferably within Bioprocessing Sales or other relevant industry.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in English, are essential.
  • Strong focus on managing strategic partnerships, driving long-term plans, radically growing the business, and having significant room for shaping initiatives.

Outstanding and proven stakeholder management experience in addition to strategic mindset and an appetite on developing ambitious plans for the partnership are desired to succeed in this role.

In addition, you should possess a great personality coupled with high integrity to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders
