What’s in it for you
As an IT Privacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects to develop and expand the maturity of IT Privacy across Digital, Data & IT and Novo Nordisk as a whole. An important aspect of the role is the translation of regulatory requirements into action plans and focus areas, with the goal of reaching agreements through flexibility and compromise or convincing others of new concepts, practices and ideas.
One of the larger initiatives where you will be involved, is on the regulations within Artificial Intelligence, where you will be playing a central role in defining the corporate guidelines and IT controls from a privacy perspective.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the data protection responsible for Digital, Data & IT, ensuring compliance with personal data requirements
  • Advising Digital, Data & IT management and other senior stakeholders on how to build and expand maturity within IT Privacy
  • Define, communicate, and execute the privacy and compliance vision and roadmap
  • Taking an active part in IT privacy audits of vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to global frameworks, policies, guidelines and tools development to support overarching compliance & privacy priorities, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

Which competencies to bring
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data protection and privacy
  • At least 5 years of experience within system development, maintenance or governance of IT in a large organization
  • Proven experience with GDPR in IT, Privacy controls, Data Regulations and Compliance
  • Knowledge about ITIL, COBIT and ISO27001/27701, SOC 2 and ISAE 3000, would be beneficial
  • Certifications such as CIPP, CIMP, CIPT, will be valued

On a personal level, you are a great communicator, capable of easily relaying information between cross-functional departments and stakeholders, at all levels of the organization. Additionally, you are proactive in supporting your colleagues, contributing to a good working atmosphere, and have demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly.
