The position

As a QC Chemist at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to be a Subject Matter Expert within the applied analyses, both in-house and at CMOs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Digitizing data, e.g. by implementing automatic transfer from equipment to LIMS
  • Qualifying and implementing equipment for automation of analyses
  • Verifying and validating methods
  • Providing laboratory support and reviewing analysis documentation
  • Handling deviations and Out of Specification (OOS) cases
  • Updating procedures and documentation to maintain compliance and efficiency

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
  • Possess experience working in a GMP environment, preferably in a QC laboratory
  • Possess experience with working with CMOs and outsourced analyses, which would be an advantage
  • Fluent in both Danish and English (written and verbal)

Department

You will be part of the Sourcing QC department, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials for Novo Nordisk's productions. The department consists of approximately 110 employees divided into 5 teams: two chemical teams, two packaging material teams, and one chromatographic team, all located in Hillerød. The position is in one of our chemical analysis teams, which is responsible for the chemical analysis of raw materials, excipients, and primary packaging materials for both API and finished products. The team consists of 19 people, including laboratory technicians, chemists, project managers, and specialists, with a strong sense of commitment and team spirit where we care for and help each other.
