We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking individual to join our Tech Strategy unit as a Generative AI Data Engineer. We would like you to take on the role of designing credible and scalable data infrastructure to facilitate GenAI solutions, guaranteeing smooth integration of data sources, pipelines, and storage systems.

Your responsibilities

As our GenAI Data Engineer, you will design and support a robust data infrastructure to power our GenAI solutions. Your responsibilities include ensuring seamless integration of varied data sources, pipelines, and storage solutions. You'll collaborate with our GenAI team to incorporate AI models into our existing data infrastructure while prioritizing data availability, quality, and performance. Additionally, you'll be expected to promptly and efficiently troubleshoot any data-related issues that arise.

Additionally, you will:

  • Optimize data workflows to ensure efficient data processing and analysis
  • Stay ahead of the curve on the latest trends in GenAI, evaluating and integrating best-in-class tools, frameworks, and practices to continually enhance our capabilities.
  • Continually refine and adjust data architectures based on real-time feedback and evolving project requirements

A great match

We're looking for a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of data architectures and the adaptability to keep up with the fast-paced changes in the GenAI field. You should possess extensive problem-solving skills and a great desire for continuous learning and growth. Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial, as you'll be working in a diverse team environment with various stakeholders. Prior experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies would be a significant advantage.

We also imagine that you possess:

  • PhD or master's degree in data/computer science, AI or other relevant disciplines
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or a similar role in data handling
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies including use of LLM APIs (e.g. GPT-4, Llama2), embeddings, vector databases, orchestration tools (langchain), etc
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI or other similar services like AWS Sagemaker.

This position can be located in several possible countries. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 3240 EUR to 4860 EUR monthly, based on your competencies relevant for the job.
