The Position

The job offers good development opportunities and cross-functional collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders, allowing you to build a strong network across Novo Nordisk. As senior financial analyst / specialist you will:

  • Play a key role in providing insights into the cost of processes, products and productivity to support key management decisions.
  • Conduct business cases, scenario analysis, long-term financial forecasting, financial modelling of our processes and presentations to provide the best fundament for future decision making.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Development, Supply Chain, Strategy areas, Business Intelligence, and Business Support functions across areas to understand and develop financial cost models, analysis, and business cases.

The role reports to Director of Cost Productivity Insights and is based in Bagsværd HQ.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A MSc Degree within Finance, Business, Strategy or similar.
  • +8 years of experience with financial modelling, business cases or as a financial analyst.
  • Experience with project management, production economy and long-term financial forecasting will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, and the ability to deliver with high quality under pressure.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Ability to present complex issues in a simple way.

As a person, you embody a proactive and high-performance spirit, constantly focusing on development and learning opportunities. You are curious of nature also within other fields than your own. You are structured and work with an analytical mindset.

Proficiency in English both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite in this job.

About the Department

Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with ~30,000 employees globally. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products, the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities, and for providing an IT platform that caters to all business needs.

Cost Productivity Insights is part of PSQIT Finance and consist of currently 5 colleagues. The team is essential in providing insights into cost structures, unit cost break downs, long-term financial cost insights, cost scenario analysis and productivity insights for the full PSQIT organisation.
