The Position

As our HS Associate Manager & Partner, you will lead a team focused on driving and strengthening strategies for HS projects, maintaining the global HS Management System, and engaging with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and developing your team, optimizing processes for a simple and agile working culture

- Ensuring professional execution of globally standardized processes and governance/partnering models

- Taking responsibility for critical cross-functional projects and overseeing internal H&S audits and planning in accordance with ISO 45001

- Driving initiatives in sync with business and organizational development, and working as a strategic partner within H&S governance

Additionally, you will ensure high-quality data for reporting purposes and provide guidance in various areas, including accident investigations, risk assessment, and workplace safety.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should have:

- A Bachelor's degree, preferably within Health & Safety, Environment, or Energy

- Experience within Health & Safety, which will be highly appreciated, and experience in the pharmaceutical industry or GMP, which will be an advantage.

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with solid management experience (2-3 years) in a similar global corporate company setting, preferably as an H&S site manager.

- A solid understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001

- Extensive experience in managing safety at construction sites and holding certificates to perform the task of 'Sikkerhedsleder'

- The ability to communicate effectively in both Danish and English

You have experience in handling complex decisions where economic and HS considerations must be balanced, while being an inclusive leader with excellent interpersonal and strong abilities in listening, tuning in to stakeholders, providing a flexible and welcoming attitude while still providing clear direction and choices. Also, you are able to drive initiatives and concept development and make empowerment work, knowing how to prioritize within a broad and complex task portfolio. It is required to have knowledge and understanding of different cultures and working styles to accommodate the collaboration across a global organization.

About the Department

You will be joining a highly professional and growing team of approximately 75 people in the Novo Nordisk IFP KA site, reporting to the Director of Production Support, where you will be leading a team of 3-4 people.
