The position
You will be part of the Automation team consisting of 18 highly skilled automation technicians and engineers. Our responsibility as a team is to contribute to a high performing production and come up with the solution for tomorrow. We support and develop our fully automated production which consist of Material handling, Assembly and Packaging lines.

The main responsibilities for this position:
• Support and develop the automation systems to ensure that production is operational.
• Execute projects and solve challenging problems in close collaboration with specialists and technicians from other departments. • Spend time to develop your knowledge to challenge existing systems and solutions.
• Work in accordance with current quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements and create all documentation needed.
• Be the part of an off-hours on-call hotline - a week at a time approximately every second month - to cover the need for 24/7 support in the production (In return we offer a flexible schedule with the possibility to plan your own workday).

Because the automated equipment is essential to our production, your workday will be varied, and sometimes hectic. You will have a very social workday where you will be working in close collaboration with technicians and specialist from other departments to solve problems and execute projects.

If you join us, you will become part of a unit characterised by strong collaboration and good team spirit with the aim to support, optimize and develop our IT and Automation solutions.

Qualifications
To succeed as an Automation Engineer, we expect that you: • Have an academic or technical background combined with working experience within complex automation systems. Most important to us is that you have proactively sought out hands-on experience within your field.
• Have knowledge of at least one of the following: Factory talk View, Rockwell and Siemens PLC’s.
• Have relevant experience with project execution and process optimization. Experience in robotics or Digital Twin is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Are fluent in Danish and can communicate easily in English.

On a personal level, we expect that you can solve task both independently and as part of a team.
Your attention to detail, structure and clear understanding of the business ensure that you can handle all tasks appropriately and timely. You have an analytic mindset and a can-do-attitude. You value good working relationships and can work across functions at all levels of the organisation.

About the department.
DD&IT IFP Hillerød is anchored within the Global IT organisation. The department covers all areas from Operational technology, IT, Service level management, system management and infrastructure.
