The position

Your role is essential as you support compliant and efficient vendor management along with successful transfer from project to operations,

while ensuring reliability of the inbound flow, collaboration with internal stakeholders including Manufacturing Development, Warehousing, QC, QA, Process Support and Project Managers e.g.:

  • Participate in product development projects or product upgrades across the organisation.
  • Gather documentation from suppliers and internally to qualify new products and suppliers according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Handle multiple parallel initiatives of supplier and product documentation along with process optimization.
  • Initiate, scope and support less complex change notifications, change requests and deviations.
  • Continuously develop and enhance the vendor management governance ensuring an efficient, flexible, yet robust incoming flow at the lowest possible cost, not jeopardizing existing supply flows.
  • Assist to negotiate contractual terms e.g. forecast, order sizes, lead times, documentation, price.
  • Assist the Category Manager in driving the setup via analysis, documentation, communication, KPIs, processes, SAP settings etc.

You will become part of the Inbound Supply team of 14 Inbound Supply colleagues, who are responsible for vendor management of raw materials, process aids and managing CMOs.

The team is responsible for supply and qualification of new materials and/or suppliers in relation to product launches, and a part of the Supply Chain and Procurement department covering likewise Warehousing, Indirect Procurement, and Production Planning.

The job is located in the northern part of Køge, just 20 min. drive south of Greater Copenhagen area.

Very little or no travel expected.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we imagine you have:

  • Preferably master’s degree – alternative bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, science, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of pertinent work experience in supplier management, supply chain management and/or production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist driving compliance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Respectful communication aiming at finding consensus in case of colliding points of view.
  • Strong drive as well as being capable of prioritizing tasks and planning ahead.
  • Interest in applying LEAN tools.
  • Good at describing cases, flows and actions in a short and clear way.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
