We are seeking a Lead Functional SAP EWM expert to spearhead the implementation of SAP EWM on S/4 HANA technology and shape the future of warehouse management and control systems.

The position
As a SAP EWM Professional, you'll work on deploying SAP EWM globally. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Sites and Supply Chain IT in an agile environment. Contribute to designing the SAP EWM template and interfacing with warehouse automation.

Key responsibilities

  • Experienced in leading the rollout of SAP EWM solutions in production warehouses, including building and safeguarding standard template solutions and harmonizing them across warehouses
  • Proficient in mapping business requirements to template solutions and providing functional support to team members during various project phases such as detailed design, customization, testing, and go-live activities
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of warehouse business processes, including Inbound, Outbound, Production Integration, QM integration, and Internal processes
  • Skilled in implementing Material Flow Systems and integrating with Conveyors, Fleet Managers, and Automated storage systems, as well as integrating with ECC system modules like WM, PPPI, and QM
  • Experienced in building integrations with external systems such as MES (PAS-X), Middleware (SAP PO/Mulesoft), and SAP ATTP, and developing cross-functional test protocols and go-live preparations
  • Proficient in coordinating tasks with implementation partners, functionals, and collaborating with Line of Business users, architects, deployment leads, and other digital supply chain partners


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the implementation of SAP EWM, particularly in the contextof production warehouses
  • Proficient in integration technologies, including web services and RFC interfaces, with a focus on achieving optimal solutions
  • Possess strong analytical skills, adept at seeking and implementing best practices while maintaining a standard-oriented mindset. Capable of both high-level solution overview and detailed analysis
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with a track record of effectively presenting information and recommendations to stakeholders across various business domains
  • Skilled in operating within an Agile Organization, with additional advantageous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with GxP regulations

Manufacturing IT, within the Global IT Organisation, is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support, and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which are needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide.
