The position

As an Associate Manager for Environment, Health, and Safety in Bagsværd, you will be leading a team of 6 talented professionals responsible for driving the EHS agenda in our site.

Tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide visible and active leadership, supporting and mentoring the team.
  • Be a role model for HSE by providing competent HSE advice and promoting the right behaviour across the site, as well as ensure that applicable EHS guidelines/legislation are followed.
  • Monitor the fulfilment of targets and develop appropriate action plans if needed. 
  • Set direction and facilitate progress in relevant focus areas, such as reduction of accidents, safe behaviour, and circular factory maturity.
  • Actively engage the local leadership team and stakeholders across the broader international network of IFP (Injectable Finished Products) on EHS related topics.

You will also be part of a dynamic management team in Business Support, an area that plays an important role in shaping the overall strategy of the site.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should:

  • Hold a relevant academic degree.
  • Have at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of environment, health, and safety, preferably from a regulated industry.
  • Experience in participating in EHS inspections and audits.
  • Experience from a people leadership role.
  • Have excellent communication, stakeholder management and change management skills.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and Danish.

About the department

Site Bagsværd is an important manufacturing location that is part of the production network for Injectable Finished Products at Novo Nordisk. The local EHS organization is part of Business Support – an area also responsible for projects, logistics, finance, lean, digitalization, training, and release.
