About the department
The unit consists of approximately 80 colleagues dispersed across 7 different teams who together, covers most aspects of operation, quality, maintenance and development, maintenance of the site’s IT and Automation architecture, hardware, software, infrastructure, and documentation.
The AP Automation team currently consists of 14 highly skilled automation engineers. Our main responsibility is to apply a curious, problem solving oriented, and service mindset for the automation systems supporting the AP production equipment. Moreover, we play a vital role during process design and redesign through collaboration with the factory’s product and process responsible.

The position
You will be working in a pharmaceutical production facility in accordance with current quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements, with ongoing production 24 hours, 7 days a week (24/7).
Responsibilities:

  • Support the automation systems, in particular our Process control systems and Batch execution software as part of failure investigations where we define temporary containments and lasting countermeasures,
  • Take part in an on-call duty rooster,
  • Design, implement and document software and hardware upgrades

Qualifications
You have an educational background within automation, combined with working experience within complex automation systems. We expect you to be eager to learn and will appreciate gaining hands-on experience.
Further it will be an advantage if you are confident in one or more of the following:

  • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) We use IFIX and Ignition
  • Siemens PLC and HMI (Hardware/Software)
  • Integration software
  • Experience with process optimization in a controlled production environment
  • Familiar with and/or not discouraged about GAMP 3-5 and the documentation which is required in Validated production environments.

On a personal level you must thrive in a busy working environment, not always knowing what the day will bring. Your personality helps to establish good relations and support your ability to work across functions at all levels in an organisation. It is a benefit if you are proficient in Danish and a must that you can communicate in English.
